Niagara Region Transit - Niagara Falls
Niagara Region Transit offers fixed-route bus services, OnDemand transit and specialized transit to Niagara Falls residents, businesses and visitors.
- Fixed-route bus service provides riders with a reliable, repetitive, fixed schedule based upon a specific route with vehicles stopping to pick up and deliver passengers to specific locations.
- OnDemand transit is a ridesharing service that lets riders request trips in real-time through a mobile app or over the phone by selecting a pickup point and destination.
- Specialized transit services residents of Niagara Falls who have a disability that prevents them from using conventional transit services.
Niagara Region Transit can transport riders in Niagara Falls to:
- a different location within the Niagara Falls boundaries; or
- a designated service area or to a transit hub in Fort Erie or St. Catharines when departing from the designated Niagara Falls transit hubs.

OnDemand transit - TransCab
TransCab is available to Niagara Falls residents who do not reside in/near current routes. Riders use a taxi service provider to connect them to and from the city transit system at zone-specific transfer hubs.

Book a ride
- Call Central Taxi at (905) 358-3232 prior to your trip on Niagara Region Transit, and inform the OnDemand operator when, and at which Transfer Point, the taxi needs to meet you.
- When you board the bus, ask the vehicle operator for a transfer.
- The taxi will meet you at the transfer point. Show the transfer to the taxi driver, who will take you to your destination in the TransCab Zone.
- Call Central Taxi at (905) 358-3232, and tell the operator you pick up location, and the time and to which Transfer Point you need to meet your bus.
- Pay your fare to the taxi driver, and ask for a transfer receipt, which will be accepted by your bus operator.
- The taxi will pick you up and take you to the Transfer Point for your bus connection.

The Glenview zone is in effect Monday to Saturday, 6:30 p.m. to midnight and Sundays and holidays 6:45 a.m.to 7:15 p.m. The TransCab Transfer Point for this zone is the Bus Terminal at Bridge Street and Erie Avenue. View the Glenview TransCab Zone Map (PDF).

Niagara Specialized Transit - Chair-a-Van
Chair-a-Van services residents of Niagara Falls who have a disability that prevents them from using conventional transit services.
Eligibility
You must be a physically-disabled resident of Niagara Falls whose mobility problems prevent or severely inhibit you from walking 175 metres.

Fares can be purchased by downloading the Transit App or at the following locations during business hours. Regular transit fares apply.

Applications for TransCab service must be certified by a medical practitioner and will be reviewed for approval. If approved, eligibility will be granted on an unconditional, conditional or temporary basis.
